Divi | Developer Testnet Network Snapshots

Part 1

Download the testnet snapshot zip from the "Testnet Zip" button above, and once it is finished, double-click the downloaded file. This action will unzip the file and show a folder named DIVI-Snapshot.

Inside this folder, you will find 2 subfolders.
- blocks
- chainstate

Remember the location of these two folders we will need them in Part 3, Step 1

Part 2

Close Divi Desktop Application (exit, do not minimize, close completely)
Open Finder
Click GO at the top of Finder
Select the "Go to Folder" option in the drop-down list
In the "Go to Folder" Search Bar enter ~/Library/Application Support/ (pay close attention to the placement of the tilda ~ )
Click the blue Go button
Open folder titled "DIVI" (not Divi Desktop)
- Keep / Preserve in place the following five items.
Clean "DIVI" folder by sending all other files, except the above to trash
- When done all that will be in the folder titled "DIVI" will be
  - backups(directory) – Do Not Move
  - monthlyBackups(directory) – Do Not Move
  - debug.log
  - masternode.conf – Do Not Move
  - wallet.dat – Do Not Move

Part 3

Open your DIVI-Snapshot folder from Part 1, Step 1
Move or Copy (2 Folders)
- blocks
- chainstate
To the "DIVI" Folder you just cleaned above (Part 2, Step 8)
Close Finder Window

Part 4

Restart Divi Desktop Application
- If "Primer" pops up click "Cancel" button
This process takes on average 5 to 20 minutes to complete though it does depend upon your computer. Enjoy your quick snapshot sync!

Press and hold windows key + r key, this will cause a run box to pop up
Type %appdata% in the run box and hit ENTER
Open folder titled "DIVITEST" (leave Divi Desktop untouched)
- Keep / Preserve in place the following five items.
Clean "DIVITEST" folder by sending all other files, except the above to trash
- When done all that will be in the folder titled "DIVITEST" will be
  - backups(directory) – Do Not Move
  - monthlyBackups(directory) – Do Not Move
  - debug.log
  - masternode.conf – Do Not Move
  - wallet.dat – Do Not Move

Part 3

Open your DIVI-snapshot-testnet folder from Part 1, Step 1
Move or Copy (2 Folders)
- blocks
- chainstate
To the "DIVITEST" Folder you just cleaned above (Part 2, Step 5)
Close Window file browser

Part 4

Restart DIVITEST Desktop Application
- If "Primer" pops up click "Cancel" button
This process takes on average 5 to 20 minutes to complete though it does depend upon your computer. Enjoy your quick snapshot sync!

Open Linux Home Directory using File Manger
Search for .divi (if you dont see . (dot files) on Ubuntu Hit CTRL KEY + H KEY and they will show)
Open “.divi” directory (leave Divi-Desktop untouched)
- Keep / Preserve in place the following five items.
  - backups(directory) – Do Not Move
  - monthlyBackups(directory) – Do Not Move
  - debug.log
  - masternode.conf – Do Not Move
  - wallet.dat – Do Not Move
  - Optional You may or may not have any other wallets with wallet_#######.dat. If you do move them to the backups(directory) above but make sure to keep the file titled "wallet.dat" preserved and in place.
Clean ".divi" folder by sending all other files, except the above to trash
- When done all that will be in the folder titled ".divi" will be
  - backups(directory) – Do Not Move
  - monthlyBackups(directory) – Do Not Move
  - debug.log
  - masternode.conf – Do Not Move
  - wallet.dat – Do Not Move

Part 3

Open your DIVI-Snapshot folder from Part 1, Step 1
Move or Copy (2 Folders)
- blocks
- chainstate
To the ".divi" Folder you just cleaned above (Part 2, Step 4)
Close Linux file browser

Part 4

Restart Divi Desktop Application
If "Primer" pops up click "Cancel" button

Part 1

Download the Divi-snapshots.tar.gz from the "Mainnet Tar" button by copying the link and using wget command on your server. Untar the Divi-snapshots.tar.gz

Inside in Divi-Snapshots directory, you will find two subdirectories.
- blocks
- chainstate
Remember the location of these two directories we will need them in Part 3, Step 1
Stop divid (you must stop daemon before continuing)

Part 2

Open ~/.divi
- Keep / Preserve in place the following five items.
- backups(directory)
- monthlyBackups
- debug.log
- masternode.conf
- wallet.dat
- Optional You may or may not have any other wallets with wallet_#######.dat. If you do move them to the backups(directory) above, keep the file titled "wallet.dat" preserved and in place.
Remove all other files and directories.
- When done, all that will be in the .divi directory will be
- backups(directory)
- monthlyBackups(directory)
- debug.log
- masternode.conf
- wallet.dat

Part 3

Return to the DIVI-Snapshot directory from Part 1, Step 1
- blocks
- chainstate
Move the two subdirectories
To the .divi directory you just cleaned above (Part 2, Step 2)

Part 4

Start divid
This process takes on average 5 to 20 minutes to complete though it does depend upon your computer. Enjoy your quick snapshot sync!
